I know y’all would love to see some more pictures of our amazing decor in the new office, or hear my thoughts on pregnancy (baby #3) and expecting a boy. But first I need to come up for some air and share what our team and family has accomplished in just two weeks…but really in the past 9 months.

Best thrift resources
In my early thrifting days I would spend a Saturday morning with a black coffee, a small amount of cash in my pocket and a plan to hit 2-3 shops in search of treasure. My focus in those days was to find vintage…60’s coats that still felt current, silk scarves with wild prints and the occasional dress or blouse that still had some life in it. My favorite city to thrift in was Los Angeles when Dr. Hubs was doing a fellowship in aesthetic surgery. I had 6 glorious months of driving all over looking for treasure.We even went to a few flea markets together and found some fun lamps (that we still have!) and other little decor goodies. Some of those early thrifting finds aren’t in my closet anymore, but boy it was fun finding them.
7 reasons why I’m thrifty
Totally shocking right? A plastic surgeons wife who (gasp) is thrifty. Well it comes out in certain areas of our lives…in others I have no issues paying for quality and convenience. This is the first blog of a series about thriftiness. It’s something people value but seem to rarely talk about. I on the other hand am never afraid to say I bought something at consignment or scored it at a Goodwill years ago. Trust me I’m a big believer in supporting retail businesses and investing in quality pieces.
